Inspired by the 8458 Silver Champion (B-model) set, I decided to build my model in the original style:
What has been done:
– The chassis is completely built from scratch.
– The cabin is ~ 80% made from 8458 truck, but all the technic bricks have been replaced by beams. There are also minor design changes.
– Motorization with Power Functions Motors and Buwizz.
Features:
- Propulsion from 2XL motors
- 4×4 All-wheel drive. Differentials on each axis.
- Steering – servo motor.
- Power& Control – BuWizz.
- Fully independent suspension.
- Front suspension with positive caster.
- The cabin leans back as in the original model, but without pneumatic shock absorbers.
- Fake V10 engine.
- Max. speed – 7km / h (Buwizz first version, 9.2V)
